Founded with a solid core of experienced and active players we seek to conquer the most difficult challenges that Middle Earth has to offer. We are proud of the kinship we have built not only because of the level game play our kinmates bring but also due to the fact that we have been able to cultivate a relaxed and fun teaching environment for those players who want to develop their characters into end-game raiders. However, we are not blind to the fact that Lord of the Rings Online has much more to offer than just raiding. For those who do not have an interest in raiding we have a place for you as well. Shadow and Flame runs group content nightly and can assist you with gear, leveling, and general game play questions. Ultimately, we strive to create a gaming enviornment in which each of our members has the opportunity to enjoy the game whether that means raiding or simply relaxing in Ventrilo with your friends. If you are interested in joining Shadow and Flame for the purpose of raiding we ask that you be prepared to invest time in character development. Simply put, each of our raiders are expected to have virtues and gear that will enable the character to contribute to a succesful raid. Fortunately you will not be expected to walk this road alone. We have a group of highly experienced players that bring resourcefulness, skill, strength, talent and most importantly understanding and the willingness to help others. Characters on all of these worlds will be saved and will be available to transfer to a remaining world for free, indefinitely. We will begin the transfer process by opening the test world, Bullroarer, for character copy. We will then open transfers between the 10 remaining worlds. In all of that time the one aspect of Shadow and Flame I have pushed and appreciated more than any other is our community. We have come together in this game to have a good time, relax, and meet other like minded people. Over time our group has turned into something more. Close bonds of friendship have formed and I have even heard the word family spoken from some of you. The bottom line is our success as a kinship would be meaningless without the family we have built. However, Shadow and Flame does not exist in a vacuum. There are many very good people who I am proud to call friend that belong to other kinships. It was for this reason I have emphasized to our members that we need to be kind, helpful, and respectful whether dealing with a kinmate or not. I am extremely happy to say that we have done this and much more. Our community has become an integral part of the larger Arkenstone community. Whether in the Ettenmoors or leading social and PvE events. People want to be a part of what we have built. At first other kinships have sought to form alliances with us which we have been happy to explore and be a part of.
